The event, held on 10th September in the school auditorium, was attended by students, teachers, and environmental experts from across the city. The objective of the symposium was to raise awareness about the alarming rise in pollution levels and its direct impact on human health and the environment.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Ramesh Kulkarni, a renowned environmental scientist, delivered an insightful lecture on air, water, and soil pollution, emphasizing their detrimental effects on both urban and rural populations. Several students presented their research projects, showcasing innovative solutions to mitigate pollution, including waste management techniques and renewable energy alternatives.
The event concluded with an interactive session where students posed thought-provoking questions to the experts. The symposium proved to be an eye-opener, inspiring everyone to take individual and collective steps toward reducing pollution.
