The Cultural Society of Sunshine Public School, Nellore, successfully organized an adult literacy camp in its neighborhood from 15th to 20th September. The initiative aimed to empower the local community by helping adults develop basic reading and writing skills.

A total of 25 student volunteers enthusiastically participated, dedicating 3 hours daily to teaching. The classes were held in the community hall, which was equipped with chairs and blackboards to create a comfortable learning environment. Approximately 40 adults, including men and women from the neighborhood, attended the camp.

The curriculum covered basic literacy, numeracy, and essential life skills. The camp had a significant impact on the participants, enabling them to read simple texts, write their names, and understand numbers, thus improving their confidence and daily life skills.
